Terms and Conditions

The following booking conditions form the basis of your contract with NomadsPath ("we", "us" and "our"). Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions and agree to them.


Participation Requirements

All participants must be over 18 and confident that they meet the trip requirements as stated.

Personal Responsibility and Risk Acceptance.
Upon booking you confirm that you have studied and familiarized yourself with the terms and conditions of NomadsPath and fully agree to all terms and conditions.
Involvement in adventure sports carries a high risk of damage to property, personal injury or death. By traveling with NomadsPath you acknowledge all risks involved and always assume full personal responsibility of these risks. We strongly recommend the purchase of personal travel insurance before joining any adventure activity or sport.

Physical prerequisites:
An average physical condition is required for all trips. Please consider the suitability of such events/activities before booking. It is the responsibility of the client to be aware of the fitness level for a particular trip. When in doubt, please discuss with the guide.
Prior to any event/activity the client must inform the guide of any relevant medical conditions, illnesses or disorders that may become aggravated during the tour and/or pose a safety risk.

Equipment:
Every participant is required to bring the equipment listed by the guide. The guide will ensure that all participants have all the necessary equipment or clothing and reserves the right to exclude participants who don't have the minimum equipment required.
The customer is responsible for all equipment provided for use during the tour. The guide reserves the right to demand payment or replacement for equipment that is lost or misused.

Decisions of NomadsPath and behavior :
While the trip is in progress, all decisions are made by NomadsPath staff and you must act in accordance with all reasonable instructions you are given. The team leader or trip guide may withdraw you from the trip at any time if they hold a reasonable opinion that your continued presence is prejudicing or is likely to prejudice the good order, discipline, safety or successful operation of the trip; or the safety and/or well being of any individual participant(s) or other third parties; or if you break any law or local regulations where the trip takes place.
We expect all clients to have consideration for other people. If in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any other person in authority, you behave in such a way as to cause or be likely to cause danger, upset or distress to our staff or to any third party or damage to property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate your trip.

On time:
You are responsible for arriving on time at the notified meeting point. All public hiking tours run on local "Greek time". This means that we leave promptly at the published departure time. We regret that we are not in a position to offer you any assistance in the event that you are delayed at arriving at the departure location for your chosen tour. If you are late, the tour will go on as planned without you and your reservation will be forfeited without refund. Please make your greatest effort to show up on time.

Travel Insurance:
Personal travel insurance is not included in the tour/trip price. While every effort is made to ensure the safety for all, it is compulsory and a condition of NomadsPath's Terms and Conditions that upon accepting you as a participant on a trip, you obtain adequate personal travel insurance to cover you for any event. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability.

Passports and Visa:
You must carry a valid passport and have a valid visa for your booked trip when traveling with NomadsPath. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trips.

Cancellation:
By NomadsPath:
NomadsPath reserves the right to cancel any trip due to causes that make it infeasible to execute the trip (conditions on the mountain, illness, injury or insufficient number of participants). Some trips must have the minimum number of people in order to proceed at the advertised price. A departure date for a Tour offered by NomadsPath will become a guaranteed departure when the minimum number of persons required is reached. If that required number is not be reached at least 22 days before the scheduled departure date we will contact you to discuss options. You will be offered a trip on alternative dates (with a refund on any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value) or a full refund of all monies paid. NomadsPath takes no responsibility for any other costs that the client may have incurred such as flights, hotels or any other expenses.
By the client:
You may cancel your booking by notifying NomadsPath via email only. Cancellation fees, if any, will be determined with reference to the date on which notice of cancellation is received by NomadsPath.
For cancellations received 60 days or more before the departure of the booked Tour, the full 100% of the paid amount will be refunded.
For cancellations received 30-59 days before departure of the booked Tour, half 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
For cancellations less than 30 days before departure of the booked Tour, no monies will be refunded. 

Prices:
Tours are priced and advertised inclusive of applicable taxes. NomadsPath will not increase the price of your tour after you have paid in full. Prior to any full payments received, NomadsPath reserves the right to amend the price of unsold tours at any time and correct any pricing errors of confirmed holidays..

Force Majeure:
You acknowledge that the nature of adventure travel requires flexibility and thus, you will permit reasonable alterations to services or itineraries by NomadsPath. The routes, schedules, accommodations, activities, and mode of transportation are subject to change without notice due to unforeseeable circumstances or events outside the control of NomadsPath due to force majeure. We will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of war, riot, industrial dispute, strikes, political events, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may amount to force majeure.

Risk & Liabilities:
We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once in a lifetime journey. NomadsPath shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, landslide, road blockage, flood, snow political unrest, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot.

Dispute resolution

Expressly agreed that any dispute arising under this contract will be settled by the parties amicably and in accordance with good faith and practices. If this is not possible, exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute between parties have the court of Athens, Greece.
