What type of accommodation is provided on the trips?

Depending the trip, the type of accommodation could be different. On the mountains usually we  sleep in traditional, stone-built refuge houses. On multi days trips, hotels can be an option or we could go more wild and camp with tents which we will provide.

What do we eat and drink during the trip?

Meals will vary depending on the accommodation. If we are staying at a refuge house on the mountain, meals will include meat, soup, pasta, etc. Breakfast will include coffee, tea, toasted bread with jam or honey and eggs. If we are camping in tents, the meals are usually vegetarian-based and may include rice, pasta and local cuisine. Breakfast will include coffee, tea, sandwiches and eggs.

How big are the groups ?

The maximum group size is 10 people.

Can I change or cancel my trip after booking ?

Yes you can cancel the trip after your booking, by emailing to info@nomadspath.gr.
As we start to incur costs from the time the a booking is confirmed we will apply cancellation charges as shown below depending on when we receive your cancellation.

Cancellation of Day Tours

More than 24 hours’ notice: Full refund
Less than 24 hours’ notice: No refund

Cancellations of Multi-day Tours

Cancellation received 60 days or more before departure of the booked tour: Full amount paid will be refunded (100%)
Cancellation received 30-59 days before departure of the booked tour: Half of the amount paid will be refunded (50%)
Cancellation received less than 30 days before departure of the booked tour: No refund will be payable

Do I need any special clothing or gear?

No special gear is required for any of our trekking trips as everything required will be provided by us. However, you will need to have the proper clothing for your trip and we can provide you with a proposed clothing checklist. In addition, you will need to have a comfortable pair hiking boots.

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend booking your trip at least 90 days prior to departure. Trips do sell out or become unavailable, so the best way to ensure availability for your trip is to book early or as soon as you are committed to traveling with us.

Do I need travel insuarance?

NomadsPath strongly recommends that you purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.

What are the available payment options?

Our payment options offer you flexibility, security and convenience. You can choose to pay via credit card or wire transfer.
